This week we had the chance to chat with the owner of Fideaux, a super cute pet-focused shop based in California.

How’d you come up with the name Fideaux?
I bought the shops from the original owner 10 years ago and the name was already in place!
Tell us a little about your background: I was managing the store in St. Helena, helped open the Healdsburg shop, and then bought them both. 🙂

You’re in wine country, how do you think that makes your locations special?
Lots of local winery dogs that come in on a regular basis along with lots of tourists!
What types of items are your bestsellers?
We sell tons of collars, leashes, toys, treats and beds! I’d say we sell the most of the collars and leashes though, as we have so many fun and different designs that people don’t see anywhere else.
What type of dogs/other pets do you own?
We have a tri colored cavalier king charles that is the shop dog at the store and we have a rescued yellow lab that goes to work with my husband (at a winery).
