1. What’s Benny’s backstory? We adopted Benny from Barc Shelter in Brooklyn about 7 years ago. He had been to the shelter twice… once he ran away and the second time his owners were moving and couldn’t take him. It breaks my heart but he’s stuck with us now.
2. Geographically, where would your dog choose to live? I think he would live on the beach, he has taken a liking to following us into the water when we go swimming, it worries me but he seems so happy!
3. What makes your dog the happiest? Definitely the mornings, he is so excited to be awake and say good morning. He likes to greet us and then go back to sleep. And also cheese, no discrimination, any kind is good.
4. If your dog could do a household chore, which would he be the best at? Cleaning the floor. Sometimes when he is gone and I drop something on the floor it feels like such a pain to have to pick it up! I am so used to him being my vacuum.
5. Favorite weekend activity? Benny loves to walk around the neighborhood and occasionally run into his neighborhood buddies that he promptly ignores.
6. What does your dog do while you’re at work? Benny sits next to me most of the day when he isn’t barking at the door or taking his toys back from Louie (his office mate).
